Orbit is made by Westward Integration LLC ("we"). This page says what Orbit collects, why, who else touches it, and how to have it removed. The short version: your email is used to run your Orbit and nothing else. We don't sell it, share it for ads, or use it to train AI.
What we collect
- Your Google sign-in. Your name, email address and Google account ID, so you can sign in. We never see your Google password.
- Your Gmail app password. If you connect Gmail, the app password you make for Orbit. It's encrypted before it's stored and only used to read and send your mail through Gmail.
- Your email. Senders, recipients, dates, subjects and the text of recent conversations, so Orbit can build your map, work out who needs a reply, and show a conversation when you open it.
- What you do in Orbit. Areas you make, people you move or rename, statuses you set, drafts, and a history of what you sent or dismissed.
- Billing. If you buy Orbit AI, Stripe handles your card. We only keep your plan, its status and Stripe's customer number.
- Basic records. When you signed up, signed in, finished setup, sent your first reply and started a plan, so we can keep Orbit working and see where people get stuck.
- How you found Orbit. Our own cookie on this site remembers the link or website that first brought you here and which version of the front page you saw, for up to a year. It isn't shared with anyone or used for ads. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't set it.
How it's used
Only to run Orbit for you: build and update your map, show and send your email, and, if you have Orbit AI, write drafts and summaries you ask for. We email you about your account: a welcome note, when your plan starts or changes, and a short reminder if you haven't finished setting up or haven't been back while people are waiting on you. Every reminder has a link to stop them. We don't send marketing without asking.
AI features
When you use Orbit AI, the parts of your email needed for that request are sent to our AI providers to produce an answer. They process it for Orbit only and don't use it to train their models. Free accounts don't send anything to AI providers.
Who else handles your data
- Google Cloud hosts Orbit and stores your data in the United States.
- Google signs you in, and Gmail is where your mail is read from and sent through.
- Stripe takes payments for Orbit AI.
- Anthropic writes AI drafts, answers and summaries when you use Orbit AI.
- Groq turns your voice into text when you hold space to talk.
- Resend sends Orbit's own account emails.
Keeping it safe
Each account's data sits in its own private space. Connections are encrypted, app passwords are encrypted at rest, and only the people who run Orbit can reach the servers. You can cut Orbit off from Gmail at any time by deleting the app password in your Google account.
Your choices
You can see and change your map in Orbit at any time. To delete your account and everything Orbit stored for it, email hello@westwardconsulting.ai from the address you signed in with, and we'll remove it within 30 days. Backups roll off within a further 30 days.
Children
Orbit isn't for anyone under 13.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in Orbit before it takes effect.
